City of West Point Closures

The City of West Point's top priority is the safety and health of our community. City services, Fire & EMS, Police, Public Works, Utilities, Community Development, Economic Development and City Hall will continue normal operations. The City is coordinating with Troup County Emergency Management, Georgia Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The City is taking measures at all city facilities to follow CDC guidelines for disease prevention. We continue to monitor current events and guidelines and adjust our plans as needed. All procedures are being monitored to assure that all essential services will not be interrupted. If there are any changes to City services, we will keep you informed via all available media sources.

The services provided by the City are essential to the community. The priority is to assure that those city services are provided at the same high level that you are accustom to. We thank you for your continued support and please know that we are committed to maintaining normal operations.
