Hearing how busy it was at East Alabama Medical Center, Prudence—or “Pru” as her dad and close friends sometimes call her—asked if she could set up a station in the apartment complex office for a couple of days to have residents sign a homemade card that was almost as tall as her 4’1” frame. The 528-SICK call center at EAMC continues to accept calls related to COVID-19, but will be closed on Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. Normal hours for the call center are Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
